Candee Coffee has been a long-time resident in the Ridgecrest/Inyokern area.
Candee is very well known in the equestrian community and has been showing, training, breeding and instructing for near 50 years.
In 1979, she established C and C Training Stables, a full-service equestrian facility, to include Training, Boarding and Instructional Services.
Candee had been a 4-H Community Leader for many years. She loved helping the kids learn and thrive as well as teaching them the rewards that only hard work and dedication can provide.
Candee along with a few others created T.H.O.R. (Therapeutic Horsemanship of Ridgecrest), an Equine Assisted Therapy Program in the fall of 2016. THOR is a nonprofit 501(c)(3). They saw a need for those with disabilities to have access to a different type of therapy, something that you couldn’t get in your typical Physical Therapy Gym. Their clients have flourished in the program. From Autism to Veterans, and everything in between. Candee is certified through the accredited PATH, Intl.
